Pima Canyon

I hiked up Pima Canyon today with 3 friends. Just as far as the dam - which makes a 6.5 mile round trip - with about an 800 ft elevation gain. Warm but not too hot - the desert is very dry - the cactus all look flat and skinny with no water in them. A great hike with amazing views - but rocky - so we have to stop to look - as we are careful not to walk, talk and look at the same time, as it is no place to take a fall!
