Picacho Peak

We hiked today with friends from Chicago as far up Picacho Peak as we felt comfortable. That was when we got to the cables screwed into the rock wall that you needed to use as handholds and the rock face as stepping stones! I think we were all tempted to go up - but couldn't face the prospect of coming down! About 3 hours total and 6 miles. Then we had lunch at the Stockyards Cafe in Marana which is where I would expect our vegetarian friend to take us for lunch! Weight down .6 for a total of -5.6. Yesterday was a rest day as we took the Packwoods into Phoenix to fly home, visited Rick and Linda in Phoenix, went out for dinner and then to the Variety Show at Saddlebrook.
