Gypsy needed the walk - and so did we - a half hour on the ridge as the sun was setting - a lot of mosquitos came along for the walk.

Jean Saunders: Calgary Alberta, Marana Arizona; I started this blog in 2009 - as a way to plot my progress off the couch and into a more functionally fit lifestyle. I reported daily so a fitness trainer I was working with could see my workouts at a glance. And I kept up the almost daily posts long after I stopped seeing the trainer as incentive to make sure I did something every day. Most days I do. But a daily post is now somewhat repetitive and boring so I will do a little recap on Sunday evenings with the highlight(s) of the week. In 2012 I will ride each of my bikes 1000 miles, make yoga a very regular part of my life, hike at least once every week,golf enough to be socially acceptable,and enter at least 1 bike and 1 running race. And go rafting in the Grand Canyon. All that and a whole foods plant based diet should help take care of what seems to be the last 10 lbs I need to loose. Which would bring me back to what I weighed in my early 20's!
